Use Pravado inside Claude and ChatGPT (via MCP).

Ask your assistant about your AI visibility and get answers from your Pravado workspace. It reads one workspace you choose, changes nothing, and every request is written to your Activity log.

How to connect

Add Pravado as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or another assistant that supports MCP connectors, and ask about your AI visibility, Recommendations, coverage and journalists right in the chat. It is read-only: anything that changes your work still happens in Pravado, with your approval. Your assistant's plan must allow custom connectors. Connecting an app is separate from the engines Pravado measures.

1. Add Pravado as a custom connector

Use this address. Leave the client ID and secret empty.

2. Approve, then ask

  1. Sign in to Pravado when asked, choose the workspace, and allow read access. Only approve a connection you started yourself.
  2. Ask a question, for example “What’s our AI share of voice, and which competitor is gaining?”

In Claude

  • In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  • Custom connectors work on every Claude plan. Claude Free allows one; on Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first.

In ChatGPT

  • In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, turn on developer mode, and create a connector with OAuth sign-in.
  • Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan. Check that yours includes developer mode.

What you can ask

Your assistant chooses the right request; you ask in your own words. Each answer comes from the workspace you approved.

Questions and what comes back

TopicFor exampleWhat comes back
AI Visibility“How visible are we in AI answers?”EVI — Earned Visibility Index with its drivers, and AI share of voice and mention rate by engine and competitor, with sample sizes and confidence ranges.
AI citations“Which sources do AI answers cite for our topics?”The domains AI engines cite most in your tracked answers.
Competitors“Which competitor is gaining in AI answers?”Your share of voice next to each tracked competitor, by engine and by topic.
Recommendations“What should we work on next, and why?”Open Recommendations with priority, confidence, the evidence behind each and its next step.
Approvals“What is waiting for my approval?”Items waiting in Approvals. Approving still happens in Pravado.
Coverage“What coverage did we get this month?”Placements detected or logged, with the outlet, date and whether you or a competitor are mentioned.
Placement Lift“Did that placement move anything?”The prompts a placement or page should affect, measured against a control set, before and after.
Journalists“Which journalists cover fintech in London?”Name, outlet, beat and recent articles. Never contact details: pitches are sent from Pravado.
Citation readiness“Which of our pages are least ready to be cited?”Your imported pages, lowest score first, with the top fixes.
Weekly proof report“Summarise this week’s proof report.”The latest weekly report for the workspace.
Activity log“What changed in our workspace this week?”Recent recorded actions, including requests made by connected apps.

Limits by plan

Only requests that fetch data count; connecting and listing what Pravado can answer don’t. After the hourly limit, 10 extra requests let an answer in progress finish. When a limit is reached, your assistant is told which one and when it resets.

What it can and can’t do

A connected app reads; it never acts.

Read-only, one workspace

  • It can’t change, approve or send anything. Anything that changes your work happens in Pravado, with your approval.
  • Each connection reads the one workspace you chose when you approved it. To use another workspace, connect again.
  • Journalist contact details are never shared.
  • Results can include text quoted from the web and AI answers. It is labelled as quoted, and your assistant is told to treat it as data, never as instructions.

Your data and your control

  • Your assistant receives only the results of the requests it makes, from the workspace you approved. Its provider then handles them under your agreement with them.
  • Pravado records the connection (the app, the workspace, when you approved it and when it was last used) and logs every request in your Activity log.
  • The app’s access works only for these read requests. It never gets your Pravado password or access to your account.
  • Disconnect any time in Settings › Connected apps. The app loses access at its next request.
